INTRODUCTION
Javsolutions is a company with a team of visionaries united by a common goal: to drive your sales to new heights. Javsolutions comes from a rich and varied experience in several industries we have grown from a small team to an impressive force of more than 70 dedicated field representatives.
When you visit the Javsolutions website at www.javsolutions.ca, Javsolutions, the Site, and third parties it authorizes use cookies and other similar technologies to collect information about you. This notice explains how Javsolutions and authorized third parties use cookies when you browse its Site.
This notice must be read in conjunction with the Javsolutions Personal Information Protection and Electronic Communications Policy.
What is a witness:
Cookies are small text files that are saved on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website so that information such as your credentials or language preferences can be saved from visit to visit.
Cookies can be either temporary, used only during your visit to the Site and deleted when you close your browser, or permanent, that is, they remain stored on your device even after you have left the Site. They remain there until you manually delete them or your browser clears them after a certain period.
The witnesses we set up ourselves are called first-party witnesses. We also use third-party cookies, which are cookies from a field other than our Site.
Types of cookies used on our website
Our Site mainly uses three types of cookies.
Strictly necessary witnesses
These cookies are essential to the operation of the Site and cannot be deactivated in our system. Managing Witness Preferences

PRIVACY PROTECTION
Javsolutions recognizes the importance of the confidentiality and sensitivity of the personal information it obtains from your browsing on its Site. Personal information is collected, used, disclosed and stored in accordance with the Civil Code of Quebec and the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, RLRQ c. P-39.1 (the “Laws“).
Personal information is any information about an identifiable individual. This includes, but is not limited to, your name, address, email address, phone number, gender, banking information, employment, health or other information.
If you do not consent to Javsolutions collecting, using and disclosing your personal information in accordance with this policy, please refrain from disclosing any personal information to us.
This policy describes the principles and practices that Javsolutions follows in the handling of personal information.
It also applies to any person providing services on behalf of Javsolutions.
Each of these organizations is responsible for the management of personal information collected by their sites and in the course of their respective activities. Javsolutions is in no way responsible for the personal information collected by these organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF JAVSOLUTIONS
Javsolutions will also ensure that reasonable security measures are in place against risks such as unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or destruction of any personal information in its custody and control.
As such, the Privacy Officer of Javsolutions must ensure that it has in place appropriate policies and practices to protect personal information in its custody and control. The Privacy Officer is also responsible for ensuring that these policies and processes comply with the requirements of the Acts and other applicable laws.
INFORMATION JAVSOLUTIONS COLLECTS ABOUT YOU
We take steps to ensure that the personal information we collect about you is adequate, relevant, not excessive, and used for limited purposes. We collect the information we need to meet different requirements.
The concept of personal information also does not cover anonymous information that cannot identify an individual.
HOW DOES JAVSOLUTIONS USE YOUR INFORMATION?
Javsolutions uses and retains personal information to receive and respond to access to information requests;

Javsolutions considers that your consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information will be validly provided i) if expressly provided by your written or oral consent; ii) if you voluntarily provide personal information for an obvious purpose; or iii) if you do not object to the collection, use or disclosure of personal information by Javsolutions within a reasonable time after Javsolutions has clearly informed you, including through this policy, of its intention to do so and of the purposes pursued.
In some cases, Javsolutions may collect personal information about an individual without their consent, in accordance with the Laws or any other law or regulation that allows it.
You may withdraw or change your consent to the use and disclosure of your personal information. If you wish to withdraw or amend your consent, please contact one of our Privacy Officers at info@javsolutions.ca
SHARING AND TRANSFER OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES
We may disclose your personal information to comply with any court order, law or court proceeding, including to respond to any governmental or regulatory request, in accordance with applicable laws, to enforce or enforce our terms of use and other agreements or if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property or safety of Javsolutions or others. This includes exchanging information with other businesses and organizations for fraud protection purposes.
We may transfer personal information that we collect or that you provide as described in this Policy to service providers and other third parties that we use to support our business. These third parties are contractually obliged to keep personal information confidential, use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it, and treat personal information to the standards set out in this Policy and in accordance with the Laws.
Your personal information is processed and stored in Quebec. In the event that a transfer of personal information outside Quebec is necessary, this transfer will only take place if it is assessed that the information would be adequately protected, in particular by considering the sensitivity of the information, the purpose for which it would be used, the safeguards the information would enjoy, and the legal regime applicable in the State or province in which the information would be disclosed. The transfer will also be subject to appropriate contractual arrangements to ensure this adequate protection.
Javsolutions does not sell information to third parties.
USING THE JAVASOLUTIONS WEBSITE
This Policy applies to information that we collect, use or disclose about members of the public and users of the Site.
The Javsolutions website uses cookies. The witness file is a small text file saved to the user’s computer’s hard disc. This file is completely harmless and cannot contain viruses. There are three distinct uses of cookies on the Site:
- The presence of a cookie allows the Site to control the identity of the user’s computer only when using this application.
- In no case does the witness file identify the user.
- To analyze visits to its website, Javsolutions uses the
Google Analytics software that uses cookies to record certain visitor behaviours, such as the number of visits to the Site, the path travelled and the duration of the visit. In no case can the cookie file identify the visitor.
The data remains completely anonymous and is intended only to improve the Javsolutions Website according to the needs of its visitors.
The Site may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins, services, social networks or applications. Clicking on these links or activating these connections may allow the third party to collect or share information about you. If you follow a link to a third-party site or use a third-party plug-in, please note that these third parties have their own privacy policies and we take no responsibility for these policies. We do not control these third-party sites and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of each site you visit.
Through your use of the Site, you agree to the terms and conditions of the Policy. Any changes to this Policy will be posted on this page.
DATA SECURITY
The security of your personal information is very important to us. We have put in place appropriate and reasonable physical, organizational, contractual and technological security measures to protect your personal information from loss or theft, and from unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. We have taken steps to ensure that only those members of our staff who are required to have access to your personal information in the course of their duties are authorized to do so.
Persons working for or on behalf of Javsolutions shall:
- Make reasonable efforts to minimize the risk of unintentional disclosure of personal information;
- Take special precautions to ensure that personal information is not monitored, heard, accessed or lost when working in premises other than Javsolutions offices;
- Take reasonable steps to protect personal information when travelling from place to place.
Also note that the way Javsolutions communicates with you may be influenced by the circumstances and by the individuals whose personal information or confidentiality is at stake.
Contractors with access to personal information under the custody or control of Javsolutions will be informed of this Privacy Policy and other applicable policies and processes to ensure the security and protection of personal information. All subcontractors will be required to agree to comply with policies, processes and laws prior to commencing their mandate with Javsolutions.
Despite these measures, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure or error-free. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot guarantee absolute safety. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure
(e.g. if you are concerned that your account credentials may be compromised), please contact us immediately using the contact information provided below. If we become aware of a breach of security involving your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as soon as possible, in accordance with the Laws.
DATA RETENTION
Except as permitted or required by applicable laws or regulations, we will retain your personal information only as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purpose of meeting legal, accounting or notification requirements to appropriate government and regulatory authorities.
In certain circumstances, we may anonymize your personal information so that it can no longer be associated with you. We reserve the right to use such anonymous and de-identified data for legitimate purposes without further notice or consent from you.

ACCESS AND CORRECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
It is important that the personal information we hold about you is accurate and up to date. Please keep us informed if your personal information changes. Under the Laws, you have the right to request access and correct the personal information we hold about you.
If you wish to review, verify, correct or withdraw your consent to the use of your personal information, please contact info@javsolutions.ca to request access or correct any personal information you have provided. Requests for access or correction must be made in writing and addressed to the Access to Information Officer. The request must provide sufficient details to allow Javsolutions to process the request that will respond within 20 days, unless it extends the time allowed by the Laws. Javsolutions may charge a reasonable fee to provide access to an individual’s personal information. No fee will be charged for a request for correction. Javsolutions will notify the person of all applicable fees prior to processing the application.
We cannot accept a request for a change in information if we believe that the change would violate a law or legal requirement or result in incorrect information.
We may ask you for specific information to help us confirm your identity and right of access, and to provide you with the personal information we hold about you or to make the requested changes. Applicable Laws may allow or require us to refuse to give you access to all or part of the personal information we hold about you, or we may have destroyed, erased or rendered your information anonymous in accordance with our record keeping and practice obligations. If we cannot provide you with access to your personal information, we will inform you of the reasons, subject to any legal or regulatory restrictions.
We will provide access to your personal information, subject to exceptions set out in applicable privacy legislation.

WITHDRAWAL OF YOUR CONSENT

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
It is our policy to publish any changes we make to our privacy policy. If we make any material changes to the way we treat our users’ personal information, we will notify you at the primary email address provided in your account.
We include the date of the last revision of this policy at the end of this document. You are responsible for ensuring that we have an up-to-date, active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting our Site and this Policy to verify any changes.

If you are not satisfied with the way Javsolutions has handled your personal information, you can file a complaint with Javsolutions. The complaint will be investigated by Javsolutions’ Privacy Officer, who will determine whether the processing of personal information complies with applicable laws. The Privacy Officer will make every reasonable effort to resolve complaints. The person lodging the complaint shall be informed of any progress or outcome of the investigation within a maximum of 30 days of receipt of the request and/or of the additional time required to complete the investigation.
